What Criteria is Actually Matched?

It is not possible for us to match every tiny aspect of what you are looking for but what we will match is the following;

• The height range you are interested in
• The sex of the horse
• Whether you are looking for a sale or loan or will consider both
• The area of the country you are willing to travel to find your next horse
• Whether the horse must be “good to hack alone”

The matches are not synchronized based on age, breed, price or discipline.  This is because we would not want you to miss out on the perfect horse simply because it is a year older or younger than your “ideal”.  Likewise, why miss out on the “perfect horse” if it is not exactly the breed type you were hoping for.

As prices and budgets vary, and what a horse is advertised for is not necessarily what an owner will sell it for, these details are not matched especially as many owners are very willing to negotiate on price for the right home.

How do I edit my Wanted Advert?

It is not possible to edit your Wanted Advert but you can delete it via your MY HORSES area of the website and write a new one.  This only takes a few moments as what you wrote last time will pre populate enabling you to edit it. It also means when it is published it will have todays date on it thus showing everyone you are still searching for the right horse.

How do I Delete my Wanted Advert?

You can delete your Wanted Advert by visiting your MY HORSES area of the website, clicking on the Wanted Advert tab and the red X by your Wanted Advert which will permanently delete it from the system.
