However, to use our services; advertising horse for sale or loan, placing Wanted Adverts, horse applications or purchasing membership or products, it is necessary to register on the website and provide personal data.

- Information about your horse for sale (horse advert)

Our Legal Basis for processing data
During a user’s registration and later if they go on to use additional features of our website, they provide information such as name, email, phone number, horse details and other relevant data. The information is used by Right Horse Right Home Limited to identify the user and provide them with support services.
Can people under 16 years old use the website?
If you are under 16, you may use www.righthorserighthome.co.uk only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian.

A) Personally Identifiable Information

Other than as provided in this privacy policy, we do not sell your Personal Information, nor do we share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing use, unless we have your consent or we are required by law to do so. If you join the website as a Gold or Premier Member your contact details will be shared with Personal Group PLC who are responsible for facilitating the RHRH Rewards App, exclusively available to our Gold and Premier Members. They do not share your information with any other companies and your information is sent to them and stored by them securely until such time that you cancel your membership subscription and your data is then removed.
B) Non Personally Identifiable Information
We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
Marketing
We may contact you for marketing purposes by email if you have agreed to be contacted in this manner. By subscribing to Right Horse Right Home emails or opting in to email communication from Right Horse Right Home, you grant us the right to use the email for both email marketing purposes and advertisement targeting. If you submit a Wanted Advert to the website you will receive email alerts of horses that match all or some of your specific search criteria. If you remove your Wanted Advert via your My Horses area of the website these emails will cease to be sent to you.
We may include information from other organisations in our E Newsletter. It is your choice as to whether you want to receive information about our work. If you do not want us to use your personal information in these ways please tick the relevant box at the point of registration or via your My Profile area of your account.
You may opt-out of our marketing emails at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the end of our marketing emails. You can also change any of your contact preferences at any time via your Mr Profile area of your account or by telling us that you don’t want us to contact you for marketing purposes by telephone, or by post by using the contact us page on the website here.
We will not use your information for marketing purposes if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted for such purposes. However, we will retain your details on a suppression list to help ensure that we do not continue to contact you.
Text Notifications
If you have a horse published with us on the website, and have provided your mobile number, we will send you text notifications when buyers or loaners apply for your horse. These are service related notifications and do not constitute marketing. Marketing text messages containing special offers will only be sent to you if you have provided consent either at the point of registration or via your My Profile area of your account where you can select your contact preferences.
Accessing and Updating your Personal Information
You can access and update your personal information when you login to the website and visit any of your personal account menu options; My Profile, My Membership, My Horses. Information can be edited or deleted from these areas of your account.. You can also update your preference choices on how you wish to be contacted via your My Profile area of your account.
How secure is information about me?
- We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
- We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
- It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Data Retention
We only retain the Personal Data collected from a user for as long as their account is active or for a limited period of time for as long as is needed to fulfill the reasons for why it was initially collected, unless otherwise required by law.
Changes
