Updates of Horses and Ponies Sold and Loaned
Since our launch in 2016 we have helped find huge numbers of owners find fantastic homes for their horses throughout the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. Many of the new owners and loaners provide us with updates months and years later on how they are progressing which we would like to share with your below. These stories are testament to the efficacy of the matching process our website and service provides and we are so pleased to receive them.

They have been having such an amazing time doing all sorts of wonderful activities from Showjumping, Arena Eventing, Cross Country and even had a go at Team Chasing. "He is my "Mr Perfect" Ex Competition Horse Finds Perfect Match
“I just wanted to take a minute to update you with Mr Delicious, his passport name as advertised on your website, stable name Barney. He has been with me for 6 months and I truly could not have found a better horse, he is my Mr Perfect. We have a great relationship on the ground and under saddle, he has revelled in 24/7 turnout which we have always believed is the most natural way to keep our horses and I love him to bits (please bear in mind this is a 62 year old man saying this!”

Trail Horse Finds Forever Home on the Orkney Islands
Sometimes, a change in personal circumstances forces the sale of a horse. Finding a genuine, lifelong new home can prove to be difficult and can make the process daunting. Flip had owned Shah since he was 1, so after 15 years together, finding him the right person was her priority.

Older Horses Can Still Find Great Homes
Whilst he is an older gent (20 now!) he wasn’t ready to retire but we weren’t able to give him what he needed. He would have gone down hill I think – physically and mentally – had we not been able to find the most perfect home and when HE tells us he’s is ready, we will bring him home to retire. Huge thanks.”

Ex Point 2 Pointer Finds Perfect Home
“I could not have found a better home for him! Being an ex racehorse and not always the easiest, the right home was important to me. He also needed to go somewhere where he could have fun! Vicky fitted the bill perfectly and she also knew thoroughbreds!”

Owner Finds Hannah after a Year of Searching
“I would definitely use Right Horse Right Home again. I looked for over a year before finding Hannah. I saw so many wrong horses. They just weren’t as advertised or turned out to be dealers or scams.” explains Claire, buyer of the lovely Hannah who had been searching for her new horse for over a year before coming across Right Horse Right Home where she found her horse for life.

Loan Pony "Hope" Making Dreams Come True
Hope, a 14.3h Appaloosa X, 11yr old mare was advertised for full loan back in June through Right Horse Right Home. As she could do a bit of everything and was very sensible she was understandably very popular and received a number of high quality applications from people keen to be considered by her.

Dream First Pony for Hetty
“It is Hetty’s first pony and she totally adores her!! She does everything with her herself and has learnt so much from having her. She’s been around horses from a young age so to finally have her own made her year!! Her whole Christmas and birthday lists comprise of things for Annie!”

Quirky Horse Finds the Right Owner

It might be that the owner is in a desperate situation due to a sad change in personal circumstance or a horse that is quirky and in the open market could easily end up in the wrong hands.
