Gorgeous 12.3 /13 hh superstar pony ready to start his next adventure!
Mani has been to arena hires, XC hires, hunter trials ( placed first in 55s), show jumping placed every time out and hunted, excelled at all of them.! Jumps up to 60 cm at shows, and 60s 70s XC schooling, he is a little green on the flat but can easily do a prelim dressage test, he would benefit with a little more time in an arena doing some flat and poll work, he is super easy though. He’s also super easy to load, sometimes he will want to take a minute, mostly he just walks straight in.
Mani does have a small splint on his near fore, he has had it since he was a two year old but this had not effected him and as he is not a show pony it’s never bothered us.
My 14 year old helped produced him and completely adores him, has great fun on him and is sad to see him go as are all of the family, but she is just too tall (she is the rider in the pictures and is 5ft 3). He has impeccable feet and is currently barefoot, won’t ever need shoes if managed correctly. He hacks out comfortably alone and in company.
He will always give everything his best go and is incredibly brave and sensible. With any little rider he will do incredibly well. Good to be clipped but can get fidgety with legs.
Perfect for a second pc/SJ/event, hunt pony.or even a lead train pony while your child grows into him, he happily does ride and lead and has done from a 2 year old.
Just for full disclosure he can sometimes be a bit cheeky around food ( pulls a face and can be inpatient )due to being a hand reared rescue pony ( owned since 7 months, rescued at 3 months) but knows his place when told and is never nasty he is made to wait patiently for his food be it a bucket or a haynet,
Currently ridden in a drop cheek as he can be a little strong out hunting but he is still very green and it’s all very exciting ! knowing him the more he goes out the more he will settle, He is forward but not fizzy, doesn’t buck or rear or bolt or nap.
He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming.
Overall Mani is great fun and is so exited to meet his new best friend.
Lots of pictures and videos available to serious buyers, the pick is of him with feathers is at 7 months old when he first came to us. The video of him in the arena was last spring when he had just been brought back into work and it was his fist time in an arena on a very windy day with lots of things flapping! He was lightly backed the year before and lightly hacked out by my then 13 year old daughter, sometimes alone and sometimes with another child on our other pony He hacks out with my other daughters 17hh warmblood who frankly can be a right knob! This never fazes Mani, he just thinks he’s a knob to!
The more this pony does the braver he gets. Sadly he is totally outgrown and my daughter needs a horse so price is negotiable to the RIGHT home.
Must be homed with other horses, he’s a herd animal and needs company, but saying that Mani is used to spending up to a day alone if the our others are away,.as long as he has food he doesn’t stress.
We would love this pony to go to a competitive home as we know how much potential he has, but equally he would be happy just hacking and fun rides etc…
He is young so experienced home only to continue his education.
Mani is in regular work, trail hunting/ arena evening most weekends and my daughter is planning on doing some prelim dressage this winter if he is not sold.

We are more than happy to transport Mani to his new home if it’s within a two hour radius.

£3500 with tack, head collars and rugs, plus his favourite thing his treat ball.
Mani is a much loved.part of this family and this is a very difficult sale.

If local we are more than happy for a trial period from our yard.
