Horse Details

Eddie is a 7yr old approx 15.2hh IDx by Cloonacauneen Grandpa (Ard Grandpa). I bought Eddie in March this year & unfortunately he has turned out not to be the horse I thought I was buying. He was imported from Ireland at some point towards the end of last year & I purchased him from a lady near Birmingham.

He is broken to ride & I did hack him & take him in the school when I went to try him where he was green but well behaved, but that is the only time I’ve been able to ride him.

Since getting him home it’s become apparent that he is pretty terrified of people. I’ve been trying to work through this with him & things have improved but I don’t have the time or the skills that he needs. I also keep him at home where I have no facilities or anyone to help me work with him, both of which would be a huge benefit.

He is very sweet & gentle & really would like to be friends so I’m sure someone more experienced would be able to work through his trust issues & have a really wonderful horse.

He’s gorgeous to look at & has the most beautiful, expressive paces. I want to find a lovely home for him with someone who might not have the biggest budget but has the experience to help him because he really deserves his own person. He’s a good doer & has fantastic feet (barefoot) & is up to date with vaccinations, worming & teeth.

This is a very sad sale as I thought I was buying my forever horse when I got him. I am open to sensible offers for the right person.
