For Loan Hugo
I am tentatively on the lookout for a loan home for my 18hh Irish Sports Horse. He is available to move yards up to x2 hrs away from his base in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Hugo is a lovely kind horse and is a joy to ride. I brought him over from Ireland as a 3yo and have owned him for 9 years. We have been around the country together competing in dressage, he is trained up to medium level however it is now time for him to enjoy a slightly quieter life due to a hock issue which i can explain more about to anyone that maybe interested in him. This however doesn’t need any on going treatment.
The home I seek for Hugo is with a kind quiet person but someone who will not be intimidated by his size as he can be strong to bring in from the field. I see no reason why he couldn’t do the odd schooling session but the home ideally will mostly hack. He is a good boy and although he will have the odd spook he is great in traffic, not explosive in large open spaces, doesn’t buck spin or rear. A private yard would be the ideal for him as that is all he has known.
Up to date with the physio, vaccs, teeth etc. Currently barefoot and happy that way, he wears front hoof boots.
