Horse Details

I’ve come to the really sad decision to LWVTB my beautiful mare to a new forever home.  Happy for her to move yards within 1.5hrs of her current location.  I’m happy for her to go on trial for a maximum of 3months to ensure the new partnership is the right fit, this will be subject to contract being in place.  She will come with all her tack, rugs and wardrobe.

Maddie is a very fun and forward Irish cob who is 18 years young! I have owned Maddie for 10 years and over this time I have mainly hacked, attended training sessions / clinics and low level jumped her – she has very low mileage and still really enjoys her work so there is no stopping her yet. She is not brilliantly schooled due to my lack of time so would benefit from someone who would enjoy putting in some work as she’s more than capable.

She is such a sweet, gentle and easy to do girl but can be sensitive when being handled so she would need someone to understand this. However, she is very laid back and does not get easily stressed.

Maddie thrives on routine and would suit someone experienced who has lots of time to spend pampering her and who wants to do a little bit of low level everything but she particularly enjoys her jumping and hacking – she can hack out alone and in company and isn’t a spooky horse.

I’ve reached this decision for a number of reasons but mainly since having my son my lifestyle no longer fits with owning a horse and Maddie has so much more to give.

I will only let her go to the perfect home.
