When you have a quality horse that means the world to you but you can no longer provide it with the life it wants, would you sell or consider loaning it out?

Rebecca purchased Breeze for her son to compete on. It took them a long time to find the right horse and she was something special. Breeze had previously competed to CIC* and Int eventing level, 22 BE pts, 220 Foundation points and is currently competing at BE100 level and placed 4th in her last BE100. Breeze is a very polite mare who is lovely to do in all ways with no vices and for that reason Rebecca didn’t want to sell her whilst her son was at University.

Having found such a perfect horse, Rebecca wanted to find a special loan home for her to keep her in competition work and to allow her son the chance of riding on her again once he had finished his University degree.

Rebecca came to Right Horse Right Home to help her source a wonderful loan home. The service offered meant that Rebecca could cherry pick the most suitable person based on the information in their applications. She would not have to share her contact details and therefore not receive any cold calls from what would have been thousands of people, wanting a chance to try to loan a top horse.

Breeze’s advert, on the website, was viewed 1179 times in just a matter of 48 hours before being removed due to the volume of interest and to allow Rebecca time to give each application the attention it deserved. The marketing of Breeze was vert effective which is excellent but conversely it also shows that without an application and membership process dealing with just 10% of these people would be a nightmare, 34 applications was probably hard work enough!

From the applicants Rebecca received she did find a wonderful loan home for Breeze with someone who was willing to provide references, allow a home check and sign a loan agreement.

We are genuinely really pleased Breeze found the right home. We were confident our system could help find the right person.  We are sure there are many more people out there with valuable horses they would loan if only they could find that “ideal” person but don’t venture there because the process would be such a nightmare in the conventional sense if they were to advertise.
