Casino is a kind, fun pony who could now suit pony club/ dressage/ or even a mainly happy hacking home. He has good conformation and attractive paces. I think he would also turn his hand to becoming a showing pony – and a very handsome one at that!

He has previously done pc camps (winning best pc pony), 80cm unaff sj/eventing, dressage, beach rides and more. He is a genuinely kind and loving pony, who means the absolute world to me having had him for 6 years being my first pony. He will only go to the very best of homes. He has no vices and is well mannered and easy to do, being happy out most of the time. A home with good grazing is also important, and chance to be either on his own or with others also. He loves his hacking, and is good alone and in company and good in open spaces and with all traffic, and is very well behaved to pony/be ponied off others. Home with good hacking essential.
He is nicely forward going without being strong. However, he is true to his type and can be a little bit cheeky and looky with the occasional spook. This is to do with him being a slightly nervous person, therefore needing a firm but supportive hand.

For this reason I think he would really suit a petite adult rider wanting a smaller pony to hack out and work on his dressage, as he moves very nicely and can produce a really smart test! Equally, he would also suit a gutsy child who won’t be disheartened with the fact he isn’t a push button pony, as he was the absolute perfect learning pony for me who really taught me a lot.
He has had lameness issues from the end of 23 however they were only fully diagnosed march 25 and he had a year off but has come back into work feeling brilliant. He was slightly fresh in the arena to start, however the last month he has really settled and got back into his work, having just started jumping again. Happy to talk through lameness in full. However, he shouldn’t go to a primarily jumping home due to the risk of his leg, but a mainly dressage focused home with possibly a tiny (like 60cm) jump every so often would be fine. Potentially in the future he may be able to do slightly more however NOT a given due to the past injury. Additionally, he wouldn’t be suited to riding involving lots of impact on his leg (tight turns/fast work) eg. Mounted games or hunting. He is a very special pony, so a home as close to North Devon as possible would be ideal. Earliest he would be looking for a new long term loan home is mid October.
