Horse Details

Bob is a very well bred retired race horse that I have owned since he was 8. He hasn’t been ridden for three years due to my health and he is only needing to be rehomed now because of this. He is extremely easy going and gets on with all other horses he has been in contact with over the years. He has never kicked or has any vices. Makes a fuss for a few minutes if left alone but then settles down, and can be left for short periods with a haynet! He is out most of the time and uses a field shelter but is stabled overnight in bad weather. He has a full complement of rugs. He was diagnosed with cushings two years ago and has one weekly dose of medication. He responded very well to the treatment which was diagnosed very early and has no symptoms of any kind and apart from this is fit and very well for his age. I prefer a loan arrangement so I can keep in touch and hope to find him a knowledgeable caring home.
