Horse Details

Ollie is a talented, genuine Hanoverian gelding with plenty of scope and a fantastic attitude. He was purchased in October for my 14year old daughter, who wanted to compete in show jumping, and he has more than lived up to expectations. He is careful, willing and genuinely enjoys his work.
Sadly, due to my daughters change of heart ( boyfriend!!!), he is no longer getting the time and consistent competition career he deserves. Since my recent hospital stay, I have only been able to keep him ticking over with hacking, and it has become clear that he would thrive in a knowledgeable competition home where his potential can be fully realised. Ollie has a loving, kind nature and fitted straight in with my other gelding from day one. He is not food driven, is well mannered on the ground, and is a pleasure to have around the yard. Considering he has not been with us long, this is a very difficult decision, and he will be greatly missed.
We have already enjoyed quite a few fun rides with Ollie, where he has been an absolute gem. He is calm and sensible to hack, taking all types of traffic in his stride and behaving impeccably in new environments. He is easy to handle, clip and load, and is good to do in every way. His vaccinations, worming and paperwork are all up to date, and he has just been seen by the dentist. Any inspection or vetting is welcome. He passed a 2 stage when we bought him.
The only point to mention is that he requires secure, high fencing. While I was in hospital, he jumped out of his field through boredom to join horses in the neighbouring field. He did not wander and caused no issues, but this should be taken into account.
He would suit a confident rider looking for a quality horse to produce and compete in show jumping. His previous owner had planned to start him affiliated, and he has all the ability to progress.
