Lulu is a very sweet, loving young mare who is now looking for her next home. She is an ex-racehorse, who never raced, giving her a clean slate for a riding career.

She is currently standing at around 16.2hh and, due to her age, still has some filling out to do. Lulu is very green, so she will need a strong, experienced and confident rider to bring her on correctly. With the right person, she has the potential to make a lovely eventing prospect.

Lulu is kind and enjoys her work, though she can become a little spooky at times, something we believe will improve with consistent, calm, but confident handling and maturity. She has no vices, and is good with other horses and animals.

Lulu was recently scoped due to tenderness while tightening girth, she had grade 1/2 ulcers, which have now had a months intensive treatment. Can provide vet report etc to back this up.

She:

• Is good to load

• Has not yet been clipped, so her behaviour with clipping is unknown

Tack is not included, but this can be discussed and priced separately if required.

This is a very sad sale of a genuinely lovely mare, and finding the right, knowledgeable home is extremely important to us. Lulu was bought a year ago as project for my 13yo daughter, but we have realised that perhaps she is suited to someone a little stronger and more experienced. Lulu is so affectionate, it genuinely breaks our hearts to let her go, but she needs a much more experienced rider to bring her on. An excellent project for someone with the strength and expertise.
