Sad sale of Eric. 16.2hh Chestnut 17year old Scottish Sports Horse Gelding.
Eric has been my husband’s ride for the last 6 years but unfortunately, it’s time for him to find a new human. Husband riding in vids.
Whist with us he has taught my husband to ride, been on lots of pleasure rides, hacks, beach rides etc and jumping cross country and show jumping up to about 85CM.
He is very well schooled, but I would say this hasn’t been concentrated on for a few years. In his previous life he competed BE.
He loves jumping and would easily take a teenager from ponies. He is very light mouthed and easy to pull up on a field.
Will hack out alone or in company, good to load, shoe, catch, clip etc. Eric is ok with traffic but he is not keen on farm machinery.
He is a character and I would say he’s not a novice ride, as he enjoys his work and is not a kick along ride, may jog and will put a spook or spin in if there is a spooky monster somewhere and will throw a shape or two on rare occasions.
So if you a looking for a steady eddie he is definitely not for you.
Eric is very much loved and will not be sold to just anyone – Price to include Kent and Masters saddle, bridle and some rugs.
