A genuine experienced schoolmaster with a fantastic attitude to his work. He is well established on the flat, loves to jump, and thoroughly enjoys a day out hunting. He is an honest, capable horse who knows his job and is ready to help his next rider make lasting memories.
Although he is a schoolmaster, he is not a novice ride. He can be slightly cold backed when first mounted, so he needs a confident and knowledgeable rider who understands this. Once ridden, he is a genuine, willing horse who enjoys his work.
He would make a fantastic parent/child share or suit a teenager looking to step up a gear and enjoy an experienced horse with plenty to offer.
He is handled regularly by children and has lovely manners on the ground. He is good to catch, load, shoe and for the dentist, making him an easy horse to have around the yard.
This is a genuinely sad sale on behalf of his owner, and finding him the right home is far more important than a quick sale. He deserves a kind, experienced family who will continue to enjoy him and give him the love he has always had.
