Molly is rising 17y old young and we have owned her since a 7y old. Through no fault of her own she is out of work due to me being struck down with unexpected health issues. It has been a very difficult decision to put her on part loan.

Molly especially loves hacking. We used to go on long rides, frequently over 2hrs long and we had lots of fun exploring new routes. She is excellent in traffic. We have participated in local pleasure rides which she also loves. Molly has been well-schooled but is currently totally unfit as she has not been ridden much since June 2024. I would love someone to bring her back into work and get her fit again, as well as to be able to provide her with the love and attention she deserves. She is very special. I do get down to groom and spend time with her whenever I can but sometimes my health prevents me from doing so for several weeks at a time.

Molly is to stay at her current yard in West Norfolk. She is on full livery so yard duties are minimal and mainly involve being tidy and sweeping up, etc after yourself. A contribution to her livery will be expected in return for having almost complete choice of when to visit, ride, etc. Additional contributions to her upkeep will also be expected.

Molly is good to clip and shoe and loves being pampered. She requires an experienced rider so please only apply if this applies to you. She can be a bit nappy and may spook when out but doesn’t have a nasty bone in her body. She can be a typical mare at times, (stubborn!) especially when in season, but as long as she has consistency, love and respect that is all she needs. Once you have formed a bond with her she will be your best friend.

When fit Molly will pop a jump or two and this is where she needs an experienced rider as she will sometimes try and be lazy and duck out. Again, once she knows she won’t get away with anything she will listen and can jump nicely. However, jumping should not be attempted until she is back to full fitness.
My daughter is currently at University and will ride sometimes during her holidays but I don’t envisage it being often enough to make a huge impact on the sharer.
