Puzzle is stunning, moves beautifully and has a very exciting future ahead of her. She is standing between 15.1-15.2hh, born in December 2022. I Expect her to finish around 15.3hh. She’s exceptionally friendly and wants to be with people making her a pleasure to work with/be around. She is always desperate to come in and do something. She has masses of potential in many areas. I thinks she’d be an amazing liberty/tackless partner, competition/dressage, Para competition, RC/PC, showing, Trek, horse agility, family share…as long as partnership and fun are at the core she is very versatile.

She has done more than I usually like for her age. But she came out of winter wanting to get out the field and do things. She’s not been pushed or rushed and everything has been done with her age in mind and at her own pace.

She went away for 7 weeks at the end of April to be professionally backed and ridden away by a very kind and talented trainer. She came home in June and I have had so much fun with her. She is incredibly brave and chilled and it’s very easy to forget her age. She hacks alone and in company, in huge grass and stubble fields, lanes and open hills without getting strong, silly, spooky. She is a real pleasure. She’s never bucked, rearer, spun or done anything remotely worrying. I’ve taken her to friends yards to hack different routes and is the same away from home. She loads and travels beautifully and I have no trouble taking her places on my own.

She has done lots of ground work and seen lots of different objects, none of which worry her at all. I took her to a working equitation clinic last autumn where she did all the obstacles so well I took her halter off and went round with her completely loose. She enjoys messing around at liberty.
She comes to pick you up from the mounting block and is learning to do this from other objects out hacking.

She’s not schooled. This is something for next year. She has a big walk and floaty trot and uphill canter so this will be an exciting time.

She’s great to tie up, groom and bath and would stand there all day if she could. As she is good for the farrier (barefoot), vet, dentist etc.

She’s up-to-date with vaccinations, teeth, farrier, wormers etc. No medical/health issues

She lives out in a mixed herd with me and is bottom of the pecking order. When she went to be backed she took to being stabled at night with individual turnout daily and the hubub of a professional yard in her stride. She also went on a horse walker, was long reined and lunged.

Puzzle is very special to me and will only go to the
best home where she will blossom. She’s not difficult but will only go to an experienced home due to her age (or at least one experienced member of a family if shared) I would really like to stay in touch. No dealers, won’t be sold unseen. Forever home sought.
