Horse Details

I am hoping to find my lovely boy a loving forever home. Ritz is looking for a light hack / companion home and is for sale through no fault of his own, unfortunately I have lost interest in riding and personal circumstances have also led me to make this difficult decision. He is good to catch, farrier (has been shod in the past but has been barefoot for many years now) vet, clip etc. He hacks out alone or in company and is good in traffic. He is more go than whoa and can be a little fizzy/joggy so would not suit a novice rider. He will travel in both a lorry or trailer. Ritz is a good doer and can happily live out 24/7 all year round but is also happy to be stabled overnight.

Ritz did have a very mild lameness episode in 2025 which the vet believes could have been due to arthritic changes but was more than happy for him to continue hacking. The vet did mention the possibility of looking into SI joint injections due to a clicking sound coming from his SI area however I have not looked into this as I no longer ride due to losing interest. He is being sold from the field.
