Horse Details

Supercob, Gelding, 4 years old, 14.2hh.

Viking is handsome cob and has been to Pony Club events, clinics and out to local showjumping and dressage rounds, where he scored a 4th and qualified for champs in the SJ, and 3rd place and champs in the intro dressage. Viking has a superb jump on him and could go very far in the right hands.

He is good to catch, loads well, stands nicely for farrier and you can clip him if you are patient. He is currently barefoot. Viking will hack in company but can be unsure on his own so would need a confident and competent rider, no novices. He is good with traffic. In the school he is still a little green but has the basics walk, trot, canter, leg yield however he does have a few vices when ridden including small rears and napping. Rearing has reduced since new saddle was fitted 2 months ago and it is mainly in the school when he is frustrated although he has reared once on a hack when he was spooked. On the ground he can be bolshy if you let him and needs an experienced hand. Viking is not a Childs pony.
