Beautiful warmblood mare looking for a hacking/ low level dressage home.
Very affectionate easy mare, not a chestnut mare at all!
17.1, but fine build and not big bodied.
Barefoot and will need hoof boots on the fronts for hacking.
She is forward going but safe, not sharp or spooky.

She had pedal osteitis over a year ago but is fully recovered and X-rays are clear.
Luckily the pus didn’t reach the bone as it was caught early and X-rays at Rossdales confirmed this.
She had several months of box rest, antibiotics and poulticing the drainage holes. The foot is totally back to normal now and she had stick on shoes for several months plus Indiba treatment on her feet which has really helped.
The only thing you can’t do is canter/trot her on hard ground without boots or the plastic stick on shoes- but hopefully you wouldn’t anyway.

She is 100% sound in a straight line, but can at times look slightly unlevel on the lunge on a small circle (like many horses) but I’m being totally honest and some people wouldn’t even notice. This is probably more of a straightness issue, which isn’t a problem if she’s hacking or on big circles.

After all she’s been through I’m looking for a home where she can have an easy life and just be enjoyed and think a hacking, low key dressage home would suit after all she’s been through.
The hacking round here is horrendous now so I can’t take her out on the road.

She is good to hack alone or in company but has been out of work for over a year, but won’t take long to bring her back into work. She is currently being lunged and long reined a few times a week so can be seen working but not ridden, she has been as good as gold. She is a lovely mover and a comfortable ride.
I feel she is too small for me and would benefit from a varied life not a pure dressage home, and deserves a one to one relationship, she has so much to give.

Will live in or out, she has a very slight shiver like many tall warmbloods. This doesn’t effect her at all, and practically disappears when in regular work- she backs up perfectly normally and has been shod behind in the past with no problems.

She has been out on loan previously and I would be open to LWVTB or loan to the right person if local.
Possibility of sharing from my yard too, but again this road is terrible unless you go early or late in the day .

Only available to the very best of homes
