Meet Ippy – a beautiful, quality 16.2hh Warmblood mare with a huge heart, a genuine love of jumping and so much to offer her next rider!
Ippy is a talented, brave and careful mare who absolutely loves her job. She has won numerous BS and recently was 2nd in a class of over 110 at Hickstead. She is super quick against the clock, bold to a fence and forgiving of her rider. She has a fantastic attitude to jumping and is always keen to please, making her a really fun and rewarding competition horse.
But Ippy is so much more than just a showjumper! She has also hunted, where she behaved impeccably and jumped everything asked of her, and loves cross-country, proving bold and confident, including through water. Her versatility makes her a super prospect for someone wanting to enjoy a variety of disciplines, whether that’s showjumping, hunting or eventing.
On the ground, Ippy is a lovely mare to have around. She is easy to handle, clip, shoe, load and generally a pleasure to look after. She is also an absolute dream to hack, making her just as enjoyable away from the competition arena.
Ippy is naturally forward-thinking and can become keen, so she would be best suited to a capable, sympathetic rider who enjoys a responsive horse and can continue developing her as she has scope to go to the top. She is not a complete novice ride, but in the right hands she has so much to give.
With her impressive Warmblood breeding, lovely temperament and genuine enthusiasm for life, Ippy would make a fabulous partner for an ambitious amateur or competent young rider looking for a talented, versatile horse to enjoy and build a partnership with.
Most importantly, Ippy is a much-loved mare, and finding her the right home means everything to us. She is fit and ready to enjoy, open to vetting, and her full history will be shared with serious prospective buyers.
A very special mare looking for her equally special person. She really has potential to go much higher and there is a genuine reason for sale (no fault of Ippy’s at all) Homes will be carefully considered to ensure the very best match for Ippy. Open to Offers
