14.3hh Grey Connemara gelding, 23 years old, Rolo is a lovely size for a lightweight adult (under 10 stone), fun to hack, fun rides, could do light schooling and the odd jump out on a hack or some pole work if not too intensive. Lovely to ride whether you want to walk round the block or a faster ride, perfect size to nip through gaps in hedges, will stand if you need to get off and back on. Has been with the same owner since he was 6 as she now struggles to give him the time would like to find him a home where he can enjoy a few more years as he is far to good to retire to the field. Despite his age he still has plenty of energy in him. He’s been hacked on his own most of his life and is fine if a little chirpy in company. He would not be suitable for a novice as he can put in a cheeky buck from time to time. Fantastic in traffic, lives on a farm so more than used to a wide variety of machinery, noises activity. Won’t live on his own and is devoted to his friend who is reaching the grand age of 35+ so keen to find a home for him before he gets left on his own.  Homes will be considered within a 2hr distance of Overton, Hampshire.
Excellent to shoe, clip, vet. Has struggled more recently with stiffness in his hocks when going in a trailer and with hard work in a school so hacking is probably the best home for him.
When his companion was younger, used to lead from him.
Is used to coming in at night in winter and day during summer.
