For Sale £6,500 Tolon
Tolon needs a younger and more confident rider than me. (I’m in my 70s but experienced) I have gone as far as I can with his education. He is green for his age, his previous owner didn’t do much with him. I do not have the facilities or time that he needs. Since I have owned him he will now hack out in company, stand at a mounting block to mount and dismount, let the farrier trim his feet without being sedated ,accepted my western tack without any bother to him. So he has the ability to learn quickly. Tolon needs a one to one person who can give him plenty of time work and patience to bring out the best in him. He tries hard to understand what is being asked of him but can get a bit confused. He is definitely not for a nervous or novice rider as he can be sharp . All that said Tolon never kicks or bucks and is a nice chap , when settled he is quite happy to be left alone in field and is currently stabled at night.
This a sad sale for me and a good home is most important rather than the price which is negotiable to the right person.
