Marty is an 8-year-old, 14.2hh Connemara gelding with outstanding breeding and the most adorable, kind-hearted temperament you could wish for.

Marty was sired by Ice and Fire D’albran, who was himself sired by Dexter Leam Pondi, one of Europe’s most successful showjumping ponies.

He is an absolute sweetheart who thrives on attention, a real people’s pony who loves a fuss and will happily return the affection with his signature “kisses.”

Marty has been with his owners since August 2022 and has never been rushed, allowing him to develop into the pony he is today.

He has done everything, including hunting, fun rides, beach rides, cross-country, and showjumping, taking it all in his stride.

He has three lovely, balanced paces and enjoys getting out and about. Marty hacks happily both alone and in company, making him a versatile and enjoyable ride.

Marty has always been very well cared for, with no expense spared on his upkeep. He is easy to clip, shoe, load, and travel, and is up to date with the dentist, vaccinations, and all routine care.

Marty is happiest living a more natural lifestyle and is used to living out, so a home where he can have plenty of turnout (or live out) is essential to keep him feeling his best.

He has so much potential to be an incredibly rewarding partner for the right person and would suit a confident, capable rider looking for a fun pony to build a partnership with and enjoy many adventures for years to come.

A loving, knowledgeable home is the absolute priority for this very special boy, he deserves somewhere he will be cherished as much as he will adore his person.

Marty would not be suitable for a first pony or a novice rider.
