15hh rising 7yro gelding.
Out of a pony and by tb stallion Western Chief.
We have owned Perky just over two years, bought as an unbroken 4yro as a project and enjoyed him longer than anticipated!
He has competed in dressage/showjumping/eventing/showing 80-90cm.
He moves nicely and works in a soft outline, scoring 68% plus in his tests.
He loves his jumping, point and go, responsive, forward thinking ride to a fence, but will happily walk around the arena on the buckle end after a jump.
Bouncy fun boy, wants a competitive home.
Have been using him as an excellent lead for my 4yro when xc schooling and on fun rides. Ridden by mum. Will also stand and watch/film!
Placed sj & eventing. Won combined teaming and hunter trials.
We took him to Hanbury show in a small riding horse class where he was immaculately behaved, standing in line and cantering around the ring with everyone.
He likes his hunting and has been out with the Warwickshire for the last two seasons.
Good in traffic, seen all farm traffic and trailers and will hack alone and in company.
Has been hacked by my 77yro father.
The sweetest person to handle on the ground and loves a fuss.
Perky has a lot to offer the right person. There is so much to love about him, looking for his new partner to kick on and have fun with.
