Jade (Crazy Jade)

6 year old 15.2hh Thoroughbred mare.

I have had Jade for nearly 2 years now with the intent to retrain her off the track, but due to university commitments have never got around to it. Jade is essentially a blank slate and would be a perfect project for someone. She is a very feisty but very intelligent mare who learns very quickly and shows lots of potential. She can be quite difficult to handle and does have a tendency to kick out and is very quick with it so needs someone who would be up to handling this issue – in the time i have had her this issue has gotten a lot better and i am able to handle her alot more than i used to however it is still something that needs working on. (will go into more detail regarding her behaviours on enquiry)

Jade would thrive in a one-to-one setting with someone who has a lot of patience and is able to give her the consistency she needs. She loves attention, and I feel she would be a very loving mare to the right person who is able to give her the time and effort she needs to show her true potential.

She would make a great event horse. I have only ever lunged her in the school, but even doing this i have seen what a quick learner she is.

Jade would come with her full wardrobe of rugs and potentially a saddle.
