Rodney is a stunning ISH age 17 who has done a bit of everything but is looking for a quieter life. He has a heart of gold, adores attention, and is a “good doer” in the stable.
Riding:
He would be a fantastic Riding Club horse for a confident rider who enjoys riding club level SJ, XC, Dressage, and Fun Rides.
Personality & Handling:
Rodney is super comfortable to ride and good with scary farm traffic. He is easy to shoe and clip. He needs encouragement to load alone but is perfect with a companion.
Suitability:
He is not a novice ride or a teenager’s jumping machine. He has quirks and needs a rider who understands his “flags” and can provide a confidence.
Health Note:
Had a successful double hind suspensory op years ago (no issues since) and a recent wind op in 2023. Due to this, he will not pass a 5-stage vetting. Open to any discussion regarding his history.
Fit and ready to go to his forever home – price is secondary to finding him the right 5* home.
