Horse Details

Lovely, kind 16.3hh Oldenburg X ISH mare, looking for a new home. She is 15 years old with excellent known breeding and I’m in-contact with both previous owners, so all her history is known.
She hacks out well on her own or in company but can be a bit ‘looky’ at times on the road, nothing a competent rider can’t deal with. However, she is not a novice ride. She hacks quietly in open spaces and will stand for ages to look at the scenery for you. She has hunted once with a previous owner. She took it in her stride. She has a lovely steady canter and doesn’t ever get hot or silly. She has never reared bucked or bolted.
She has three lovely paces, being very well schooled and having competed at prelim/novice level in a previous home. I’ve only done intros with her. She has always been placed. I have taken her to cross country training which she really enjoyed and she has done some low-level jumping (40/50cm) over poles.
She is good to catch, shoe and clip and has lovely ground manners in and out of the stable. She lives out 24/7 in the summer, but does like a warm stable at night in winter. She is up to date with her vaccinations, worming etc.
She has a small flat sarcoid under her belly, which cannot be seen and is nowhere near any tack. The vets have left it and it seems to be slowly reducing.
After a not particularly good journey she lost confidence in travelling, but I have worked with her and she now loads, travels and unloads really well in my trailer, but is still sometimes a bit nervous when the ramp goes up. She settles well though. I am sure this will continue to improve the more she gets out and about again. I travel her without a partition.
She is a much-loved horse, that I have now owned for 3 years, but I now need something smaller just to hack about and take on fun rides etc. She is far more than what I need now.
She has no vices or health issues. Never sick or sorry.
