Horse Details

Belle is a lovely pony with lots of personality who I would love to do more with but unfortunately with university and my other horses I currently don’t have the time. Im looking for her to be on full loan to stay at her current yard, although would consider letting her move to a 5 star home only.

She is currently ridden only on weekends for a short hack but is always keen to be doing more. I’ve had her since she was 5 and produced her slowly myself. We’ve mostly hacked which she loves and she has done some basic lateral work in the school which she also enjoys. I’ve popped her over a cross pole a couple times and she was unphased by that as well so I think she’d be pretty much up for anything hacking/basic dressage/low level jumping.

She is never unsafe or strong but is a very forward going pony and can get a little sharp off the leg when nervous or excited, because of this she is not suitable for a beginner. When in season she gets a little more anxious and worried about leaving other horses, which makes her slightly more sluggish, but nothing unmanageable. She’s excellent with traffic and farm machinery, dogs, children etc. Good with the vet, can be a little worried with the farrier but settles with quiet patience.
She’s barefoot and never been shod, lives out all year happily.
She’s kept on a lovely yard with a flood lit outdoor as well as an indoor and excellent road or off road hacking.
She has her own saddle and girth but I do not have a bridle for her as she shares one with my other pony. She does have her own bit as well.

The most important thing to me is finding someone who is going to be kind and considerate. This is not a decision I’m making lightly but I do feel that she is keen to be doing a little more than just the odd plod round the block.
