Henry is a lovely Welsh x Cob gelding standing around 13.1hh and turning 10 this May.

He has had a fairly quiet life so far, mainly hacking with his current owner, so he hasn’t done a huge amount in terms of schooling or competing. Because of this, he is green in the school, but he is honest, willing, and always tries his best.

Henry has been shown in hand previously and has won rosettes, so has been out and about before.

He enjoys hacking and is sensible in traffic and around machinery, though he does prefer hacking in company. When alone he can be a little looky at unfamiliar things, but nothing serious he’s just nosey & curious, so would benefit from a rider who can give him confidence and reassurance although believe this wouldn’t be a problem with company and / or a confident rider.

Although slightly green in the school, Henry enjoys his schooling and shows a willing attitude to learn. With the right rider and continued education, he has plenty of potential to improve further.

He is a steady, sensible type rather than sharp or speedy, making him well suited to a confident teen or small adult looking for a genuine pony to bring on and enjoy.

He could also make a lovely second pony for someone wanting a fun project.

On the ground, Henry is a pleasure to handle, good to groom, fuss, and for the farrier/dentist. He loves attention and being part of a routine.

Henry is searching for a kind home where someone can continue his education and build a partnership with him.
