Tuesday (Mogshade Goose) is a really gorgeous, show quality registered new forest. Bred by Jehanna Stride and bought by me as a foal in 2022.
After too many years to count training Point to Pointers I am spending my dotage producing one or two a year really nice, well educated New forest ponies- an all too underrated breed in the North!
Tuesday has an excellent pedigree sired by Woodfidley Top Gun who has a reputation for producing smart sane offspring which perform.
He has been very well handled but at the same time living out in a little herd all year.
I started Tuesday off this spring and he has since been professionally backed and ridden away by a very competent and quiet young rider.
He has been ridden on and off for about the last eight weeks and is proving totally sensible kind and very easy to ride. He has a very confident and laid back attitude.
Tuesday is very correct and good looking and would excel in the show ring. He moves very well and straight.
He has no hidden dodges whatsoever – and would be fine being quietly ridden on by a competent young rider. He is good in traffic and generally just a charming, lovely pony. He is a full up 13.2hh at present but still growing. I would expect him to make 13.3/14hh in a years time.
I am in no mad hurry to sell him but selling at this age is easier for me and cheaper for a potential purchaser who can still see what sort of pony they are buying.
Tuesday has never had to see a vet apart from when he was cut, has never been lame and has had his feet regularly trimmed.
He is really friendly and social and a joy to handle in every way.
