A very exciting opportunity to purchase a seriously talented young competition pony with the breeding, scope and athleticism to go a long way in either eventing or showjumping.

Ghost has been bred to jump and event. His dam, O’Malley’s Mermaid, won a 4-year-old Event Horse class, and her sire is the renowned Mermus R, bringing proven international showjumping bloodlines.

Ghost has only recently started his ridden education. He is hacking out and has just started cantering, and is proving willing and trainable. He is still very much a baby, so his education has not been rushed.

His jumping ability is where he becomes particularly exciting. He has been loose jumped and is showing huge natural scope, comfortably jumping 1.00m–1.10m with ease. He is athletic, careful and appears to have plenty more in the tank.

We believe Ghost has all the ingredients to develop into a top-class FEI event pony or competitive 148cm showjumper. In the right hands, he could be a very special pony for an ambitious child or junior rider to produce for the future.

Due to his age and stage of education, Ghost is not suitable for a novice rider. He requires an experienced competition home that can continue his education correctly and allow him to fulfil his potential.
