Horse Details

Polly is a 13hh, 15yr old skewbald cob mare. We brought Polly to do pony club which she did in her previous home but unfortunately we’ve found she’s too much for my daughter and feel she would be better in a home with a more confident rider or where she would predominately hack. She’s an easy pony to have a round would happily live out 24/7 ( we do stable her ) in a herd or on her own, she’s a very good doer.
Polly seems to really enjoy hacking although nosey nothing really seems to faze her we live on a farm so used to big vehicles and has been hacked by all different types of rider including lead rein, you can lead her off another horse or lead off of her, happy to go first or last. Jumping is where she gets excited and needs a stronger rider, she can (surprisingly) be quite quick (although does have breaks) and will buck hence the need for a more confident rider, the more she does the better she is, she does enjoy work. She’s good with the farrier (shod in front) load, travel and clip except legs. I’ve been putting this off but she’s too nice to be wasted stood in a field. She will come with her tack and rugs, saddles recently been checked, she’s been having regular physio and up to date with shoes and vaccinations. Home is really important as she is a lovely pony
