Outgrown by his young rider we are very sadly trying to find Charlie a suitable new home.
Although 20 years old Charlie acts like a 6 year old.
He can be quite challenging and cheeky sometimes can buck out of excitement in the arena. He does enjoy hacking out particularly with other horses but will hack alone. Riders need to be confident as he reacts to his rider.
He would make a lovely companion pony, however still has a lot of life in him. Charlie knows how to show himself off in hand or on lead rein but would need a light weight experienced rider otherwise.
He is barefoot and excellent for farrier, dentist and clipping.
Charlie loves to be out alone or with a herd ,but equally stands in his stable alone during inclement weather.
Our Charlie will only go to a 5 star home. This is an extremely hard decision. Price negotiable for the best of homes.
