For Loan, For LWVTB £2,000 Eric
Eric. owned since 4yrs old, very well schooled. Has evented to BE90 and done all RC activities. Strong hunter type. Not done much in last 3 years, (he had a stifle op and I moved house) needs to be brought back in to proper work, plenty of life left in him. Sound, easy to do, can live in or out. Can move yards up to 3 hrs away. Ideally looking for a permanent home for this super gent of a horse.
Eric had a bone chip removed from his near stifle January 2017 – no problems, was back in full work by May. No reason why he shouldnt do BE80 (or even 90) again – I’ve taken him XC schooling and done unaff showjumping since, but just not re-registered him. He is not a “novices” ride for competition jumping tho – you do have to direct him and he can sometimes be strong on the XC. I have competed and won dressage last year (prelim and novice) since his operation.
He’s roughed off at the moment but I can get him back up fairly quickly. His flatwork is very good – lateral work and collected work quite advanced and very good to hack alone or in company.
I haven’t hunted him, but has has been to many “parties” including holidays by the seaside and in the New Forest – so had a varied life 🙂 I didnt tick the “good to clip” box because he is silly about clipping the top of his neck and his head – rest of his body absolutely fine.
