This is a truly sad sale so no timewasters please!
Meet Alan, he is a 15.1, 15 year old (just), Welsh D gelding.
He has been my sisters and mine best friend, with the best personality and loving nature – he thinks he is very funny!
Dressage:
I have competed Alan upto unaffiliated elementary scoring 65%, he is very trainable and safe, he enjoys flatwork and puts 100% into everything even if he doesn’t get it right first time he will try again. My 15 year old novice sister qualified for the riding club championships 2018, taking her to her first overnight show he was a superstar not fazed by the atmosphere or arena walks – they came team 10th in the UK.
Jumping:
We only jump for fun at home and the odd clear round but he is brilliant, never going to be top level but he will take you round the local 75cm and bring you home safe with a rosette. We use lots of polework in his training he never hots up or gets over excited.
Hacking:
He loves being nosy round the countryside, is pretty bombproof, if he does look at something he just gives it a wide berth never runs away! Infront or behind past combines, tractors, cards and bins on bin day! I don’t hack much alone but whenever I have done he has been exactly the same as he is in company! Goes round our gallops like a saint.

He lives on a big working farm where the JCB lives infront of his stable so is used to noisy machinery!

Handling: On the ground he can be a typical welsh and pull for grass ect, but we use a bridle as his field is down a road to be on the safe side for him and us. He loves the hosepipe, loves the farrier he sleeps on his shoulder (video evidence available) and is perfect for the vet and teeth.
Brilliant to load, we have only taken him on the lorry but his last owner had a trailer, he haven’t clipped him but we believe he would not be a problem at all.
Occasionally he has cribbed but only after a treat in the stable if he has hay he never does it and has never done it in the field – caused him no issues at all.
He suffered an injury last year from a kick but it does not effect him in any way and the vet would be happy to discuss this.

More than happy to answer any questions about our lovely boy.
