Horse Details

Vicky is very sadly for sale as she would be wasted with me. I have had her since she was born. Her mother Velvet Dove was a very talented racehorse, but her love was jumping. She was less than 16 hh but would happily jump 5 ft fences and could easily have been an event horse as she could do all three disiplines with ease.
Vicky has been professionally broken in and produced. Originally the idea was to race her but her sweet nature and soft mouth made me think she should do something else. Also, I am getting soft in my old age and I couldn’t bear the thought of her hurting herself racing. I would want her to go to a forever home where she would give someone an awful lot of fun.
She has just started jumping poles and is showing huge promise. The video shows her doing her first piece of flat work which she seemed to enjoy but it was the jumping that she really loved.
She has been ridden on the moors by myself (I’m 65) and will happily go out on her own. She slightly puts her back up when you first get on her but has never bucked and is fine as soon as she gets moving.
She is very tough and has lived outside for two winters on Exmoor without losing any condition.
